.Net Developer

Our Copeland plant in Mikulov is looking for a colleague for the position of .Net Developer. The main content of the work on this position will be supporting manufacturing enviroment by specifying, designing, programming, testing, implementing and maintaining custom client/server, mobile and web applications that allow our facilities to deliver products to our customers. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Support manufacturing environment by specifying, designing, programming, testing, implementing and maintaining custom client/server, mobile and web applications that allow our facilities to deliver products to our customers
• Analysis of old and development of new production information system
• Support with the specification of new machines and their implementation into production
• Adherence to and implementation of company software standards into new and existing projects / machines
• Conduct end-user training upon completion of software development enhancements
• Problem solving in cooperation with the manufacturing engineering and IT department
• Analysis of current conditions and suggestions for improvement
• Promotion/implementation of lean manufacturing principles

Ideal candidate:

• University education in relevant field (IT)
• 3 years of .NET programming experience
• Microsoft SQL Server Database and .NET framework - mainly VB.NET and ASP.NET
• Experience with Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio and Team Foundation Server
• Experience with label printers (Zebra)
• English at a communicative level (daily communication with colleagues in America)
• Focus on detail and ability to sort and evaluate facts
• Ability to find logical solutions to problems
• Managing a range of responsibilities while meeting deadlines
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing methods is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of PLC, OPC and experience with SnowFlake data cloud and DOMO is an advantage
