Buyer

We are seeking a motivated Buyer to join our team at the Copeland plant in Mikulov. In this role, you will ensure the timely and accurate planning and procurement of direct materials for production. You will also play a key role in inventory management, aligned with the company’s strategic goals, and support the introduction of new products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the entire order process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Meet key departmental performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct analysis and planning of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) items.
• Develop and maintain systems such as Kanban, Supermarket, and VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory).
• Prepare vendor forecasts and maintain daily communication with suppliers.

Ideal candidate:

• Completed secondary education in engineering or economics (an university degree is a plus).
• Previous experience in purchasing or material/production planning is beneficial.
• English on a communicative level, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with logistics processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Personality Traits: Strong decision-making and organizational skills, effective communication, able to work under pressure with a flexible, proactive, and innovative mindset and structured problem-solving capabilities.
