Quality Engineer

Join our team as a Quality Engineer and play a key role in ensuring excellence in our manufacturing processes during both relocation projects and ongoing serial production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the quality of products and production processes, especially during production relocation and ongoing manufacturing.
- Lead qualification of new products, production lines, and equipment into testing and manufacturing processes.
- Identify and resolve issues within production and testing.
- Drive initiatives to reduce customer and internal PPM (Parts Per Million) and improve First Pass Yield (FPY), scrap rates, and other KPIs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, suppliers, and customers.
- Lead or contribute to improvement projects using tools such as RCA, FMEA, Lean-Kaizen, and Six Sigma.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems, including ISO 9001.
- Conduct risk analyses, root cause investigations, and define corrective and preventive actions.
- Work closely with the QC lab and quality engineering to plan and verify tests ensuring product quality.
- Participate in the development of environmental, fire safety, and occupational health and safety systems.
Ideal candidate:
- Minimum: Technical secondary school (mechanical engineering or related field).
- Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Communicative level of English.
- Strong command of MS Office and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
- Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and team spirit.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Preferred: University degree in technical engineering or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methods (e.g., FMEA, RCA).
- Basic knowledge of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
