Finance Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic new Finance Manager for our Copeland plant in Mikulov. In this role, you will be responsible for both plant controlling and accounting and you will provide leadership and guidance to the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management of product costing and cost performance of the plant, preparation of plant budget and calculation of product standard cost.
• Management of all computerized systems related to finance (administrator).
• Contribution to the development of financial and commercial strategic plans and objectives.
• Responsibility for plant compliance with accounting standards (Legal / Internal Copeland).
• Reporting to and interfacing with the relevant government authorities and third-party auditors.
• Month / Quartal / Year end closure in define time range.
• Monthly reporting (POR, Product cost) to the Plant management and European management.
• Provide meaningful financial support information.

Ideal candidate:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• At least five years long experience in a financial position.
• Experience of managing a team.
• Fluent in English and Czech.
• Superior Financial Acumen and thorough understanding of computerized accounting systems.
• Required competences: business acumen, good problem-solving skills, strong team player who communicates effectively, highly committed approach, structured and organized, strong people management / interpersonal skills, organizational and presentation skills, self-starter and results driven.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Proficiency in German would be an advantage.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment as an advantage.
• Experience in dealing with government agencies as an advantage.
• Experience working in a multinational organization with a centralized service model.
