Customer Quality Engineer
Our Copeland plant in Mikulov is looking for a colleague for the position of a Customer Quality Engineer. Your main job content will be providing the best possible service in relation to technical problem solving, servicing our refrigeration and transport customers. This position includes close collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing, engineering, and others, to ensure cross-functional communication and resolution of product issues.
In this role you will report to the Director Quality with a dotted line to the Manager Quality.
This role will be located in Mikulov, Czech Republic.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Customer facing function to solve technical problems to support the refrigeration and transport market segments
- Initiate and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using problem solving methodologies
- Continuous process improvement to deliver high quality products and solutions
- Support the New Product Development process to release new products onto the market with the highest quality
- Drive Copelands target of zero defects
Ideal candidate:
- Holds Engineering or Industrial Engineering degree
- Has relevant job experience in related industry (HVAC/R, automotive…)
- Shows a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving
- Is an excellent team player and networker
- Is fluent in English; other EU language i.e. German or French is a plus
- Is customer oriented, collaborates, employs effective communication, and ensures accountability
- Is willing to travel 15 % in Europe
- Refrigeration system know-how is a big advantage
