Cost Accountant Analyst

We are looking for a Cost Accountant Analyst to join our team at Copeland’s manufacturing site in Mikulov. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the plant’s financial performance through product costing, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory control activities. You will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance teams to provide valuable insights that support business decision-making, improve profitability, and ensure accurate financial reporting. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic projects while driving continuous improvement across financial processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product costing and cost analysis, including standard costing maintenance and annual cost updates.
• Financial analysis, reporting, month-end closing, and audit support.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Inventory valuation, analysis, and cycle count support.
• Financial support for operational and strategic projects.
• Identification of financial risks and opportunities to improve plant performance.
• Support ERP enhancements and continuous process improvements.
• Close collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functions.

Ideal candidate:

• University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis, or Accounting, with strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial reporting. Manufacturing experience is an advantage.
• Fluent Czech and English, both written and spoken.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Hands-on approach, self-motivation, and ability to work effectively across departments.
