Manufacturing Engineer

For our Copeland Mikulov plant we are looking for a colleague for the position of Manufacturing Engineer. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the production layouts in the assigned area to ensure the best possible safety, quality and efficiency of production. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring the layout and setup of production lines to ensure the highest safety, quality and efficiency of production
• Supervising the equipment and processes in operation within the assigned area
• Being responsible for the construction of new production lines where appropriate
• Analyzing current conditions, suggesting and implementing improvements
• Preparing documentation related to the commissioning of production equipment and ensuring external and internal requirements
• Working with the Maintenance and IT departments to promote and implement lean manufacturing principles

Ideal candidate:

• Has a university degree in a technical field (manufacturing technology/automation field preferably)
• Has at least two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Has experience with automation, new line construction, lean manufacturing principles (preferably)
• Can use MS Office and AutoCAD, has good knowledge of technical documentation
• Speaks English at least at a communicative level
• Focused on detail, can sort and evaluate facts
