Senior Manufacturing Engineer

For our Copeland plant in Mikulov we are looking for a colleague for the position of Senior Production Engineer. The main duties of this position will be for the production layout in the assigned area and for the construction of new production lines to ensure the best possible level of safety, quality and production efficiency.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Specification of new equipment, communication with suppliers and implementation of equipment into production
• Supervision over equipment and processes in operation within the assigned area
• Project management – new product implementation, changes, improvements, cost reduction
• Problem solving in collaboration with the maintenance and IT departments
• Support for/implementation of lean manufacturing principles
• Preparation of documentation related to commissioning of production equipment and ensuring that necessary external and internal requirements are met

Ideal candidate:

• Has a university degree in a technical field
• Has at least seven years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Has experience with building automated production lines, specifying and implementing production machinery, robotics
• Is proficient in PLC systems (basic level) and technical documentation, working in Autocad
• Is proficient in English language at a communicative level
• Is detail-oriented, can handle a variety of responsibilities in meeting deadlines
• Has the ability to sort, evaluate facts and find logical solutions to problems
• Advantages include: professional competence (Decree 50/1978 s. 5 and above), experience with Fanuc robots and Allen-Bradley control systems
