Our company brings comfort to people globally. Our Copeland manufacturing plant in Mikulov is looking for a colleague for the position of a Project Engineer Electrical Motors. Your main job content will be technical communication with other departments and coordination of the New Product implementation in collaboration with our other plants worldwide. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Technical communications and liaison support to all departments - production, engineering, quality and others
- Optimization and cost reduction of components
- Coordinate design, ordering, priorities, manufacturing, testing, and shipping of all samples and pilots
- Provide guidance and support on current or New Product development and implementation
- Coordination of new or changed bill of materials and production drawings
- Project status reporting
- Schedule dyno testing in laboratories based on sample/pilot priorities, development schedules and input from other departments
- Cooperation and coordination with colleagues from other European Locations, USA and Asia
- DFMEA, risks mitigation, risks analysis, problem solving analysis
- Support certification of products/components according to applicable standards
- Prototyping and troubleshooting
- Innovations and cost reduction
- Implementation of product changes in documentation
- Creating/updating new product specification
- Product benchmarking
- Reporting to upper management
Ideal candidate:
- Master‘s degree of mechanical or electromechanical engineering
- Electrical motors theory, practice and testing as a strong advantage
- Experience with high volume - serial production environment is an advantage
- Good understanding of electro-mechanical designs and BOM structure
- Good written and oral communication skills
- English language - B2
- Czech language - B2
- MS Office daily user (Excel, Work, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Project planning and tracking
- Systematic approach to problem solving
- Production technology knowledge
- Desirable: electrical motors knowledge; refrigeration systems knowledge; NX CAD software; TeamCenter PLM software; GD&T, StackUp analysis; advanced Excel user
